A few useful details before you launch into the verse.
ENLIST WITH STAR-67WS-V97RWhat does STAR-67WS-V97R give a new player?
RSI grants referred new accounts a 50,000 UEC enlistment bonus. The referral code itself adds no fee, and the credits can help with weapons, shields, ship components, and decorations.
Where and when do I enter the referral code?
Use an Enlist Now link and confirm STAR-67WS-V97R in the Referral Code field during signup. If the account is already created, RSI currently allows 24 hours to add a code from the account summary.
Can I change the referral code later?
No. RSI says a referral code cannot be changed after it has been associated with an account, so confirm the complete code before submitting it.
Do I need to buy a game package?
Creating an RSI account and applying a referral code are separate from buying game access. You need a Star Citizen game package to play. For the referring pilot to receive a recruitment point, the recruit must spend at least $40 USD in new money on the Pledge Store.
Is the reward UEC or aUEC?
RSI names the referral reward 50,000 UEC and notes that it is credited to the current in-game aUEC total. Adding a code during the 24-hour grace period may delay that credit.
Does this include special referral-event rewards?
The standard benefit is 50,000 UEC. RSI sometimes runs limited referral incentives, but eligibility and dates vary. Check the official referral page before assuming an extra ship, vehicle, armor set, or other event reward is active.
